6 0'clock after my work,
And after the prayer of my neighbour's cock.
Nepa kon bring light,
Light wet dey no bring since last month.
Dey just show light small for us.
Everybody kon dey think sey eno go teyl before dey take am.

But na lie,this evening,
Im  be like sey God talk with dem.
Or may be na the presi yarn dem.
Everybody dey rush; Sam dey rush iron I'm cloth.
Me hold my stand outside for 2 hours,
As I see sey dey no take im ,I kon go inside.

As I siddon on top my tchair,
I kon on my television wey dey.
Deaf and dumb for one month,
Den I come carry the station
Go Hausa tv- 'NTA'-  'taran.......taran!'
Na news time!

Na I'm dey start the talk,
The talk of the news.
And me I no too like news,
But becos I no get beta channel I just dey watch.
